Blacksea Hamsi Anchovy

Cooking is a form of art in Turkey, which also has its own movement and distinctions in every city and even in every village. Black Sea region, especially the towns of the east coastline are famous with their hamsi (anchovy), a small fish generally fried in the pan as seen in the picture. But Karadenizliler (people of the Black Sea region) cook nearly everything out of this small fish, believe it or not they even have an incredible dessert prepared with hamsi.
