Alpbachtal ski resort is very convenient to major airports, expressways and railway stations, making it easy to access via a range of transportation alternatives.
Munich Airport, two hours by autobahn, is the most popular aerial gateway to Alpbachtal and is served by numerous continental and transcontinental flights. Closer but with less extensive services is Innsbruck Airport, less than an hour away by car or bus.
Alpbach village is approximately 1,100kms from Calais, and is accessible via a series of motorways. After entering the Inn Valley autobahn from Innsbruck or Kufstein, take the Kramsach exit. Then it is just nine kilometres to Alpbach. Alpbachtal is located 57kms (one hour) from Innsbruck and 160kms (two hours) from Munich.
The nearest InterCity railway stations are Worgl (25kms) and Jenbach (20kms). Although Jenbach is closer to the resort, most trains arrive at Innsbruck and Worgl first, making those stations more convenient for accessing the resort. From Londons Waterloo station, take the Eurostar to Paris lEst, the Internationaler Schnellzug to Mulhouse Ville, Regional Express to Zürich, EuroNight to Innsbruck, and finally the DB NachtZug to Worgl. Those wishing to continue on to Jenbach can take the Eilzug train. The total journey time is around 18 hours.
Regular bus services operate from Innsbruck, Worgl and Jenbach, and there are free Skibuses.
